BDI... Still on the lead!

Yeah! guys, BDI is still on the front-burner of helping Nigeria achieve 100% VNRBD like other nations of the world. The recent training of her Directors and Coordinators by the foremost international foundation, renown for giving technical expertise as endorsed and funded by the United States' USAIDS & PEPFAR, Safe Bloo...d For Africa Foundation (SBFAF) is no doubt a boost to the operations of Blood Drive Initiative (BDI), the trail-blazing youth-led non-governmental organization in Nigeria (the most populous black nation in the world). This training we believe is in recognition of BDI's milestone achievement in the field of helping to ensure 'safe blood', one of the eight functional tools needed in our health facilities, and its potential to help deliver on the 100% VNRBD global goal, especially as the year 2015 set for the MDGs is fast approaching. SBFA WORKSHOP FOR BDI

SAFE BLOOD FOR AFRICA (SBFA), the umbrella agency for the National Blood Transfusion Services, is organizing a workshop for BDI coordinators and directors on the 10th July, 2010 at NBTS ZONAL OFFICE IBADAN. The aim of this workshop is to better equip and position BDI for more efficient service delivery as the leading youth donor organization in Nigeria.
