BDI National commemorates World Aids Day in style

In commemoration of World Aids Day celebrated every 1st of December annually, the Natioanl leaders of BDI in conjunction with the leaders and members of her Oyo state Community Based BDI Unit (CBBU), staged sereis of advocacy activities to mark the day. The crux of their advocacy message is the availability of safe blood through voluntary non-remunerative blood donation (VNRBD) as this system is the only safest means of sourcing HIV and other blood borne infections-free bllod fopr transfusion to patients in need. Activities included visti to the mangement of University college Hospital, Ibadan, National blood transfusion service, south-west zonal center, ibadan, NTA Ibadan Network Centre, Agodi, Deputy Director, Blood Bank, UCH, as well as creating awareness among the public.
