Blood Drive Initiative achieves yet another feat with outstanding performance at the EDUCARE TRUST “Youth Inspiration” Exhibition…
The venue of the event, Goshen Event Center, Sango in the city of Ibadan went agog as Blood Drive Initiative among other Exhibitors were on ground to make the EDUCARE TRUST “youth Inspiration Exhibition @009 a great success. The event which was acclaimed as the largest Poster Exhibition in Nigeria with over 1000 poster messages and pictures speaking millions and billions of words to our education hungry youth was no doubt a talk of town with foremost Media Houses like NTA, BCOS, Guardian newspaper, etc at hand to cover this epoch-making event. Blood Drive Initiative (BDI) no doubt was on the move to actively educate and enlighten the teeming crowd of visitors on the need and importance of Voluntary Non-remunerated Blood Donation. There was an awareness on the City Wide Essay Competition for Senior Secondary school students under BDI’S auspices of “Catch Them Young (CaThY)”. Students and School administrators all went home with the essay participation forms. The peak of the event for BDI was the voluntary blood donation by convinced individuals to our partners , the National Blood Transfusion services (NBTS), South Western Zone who were on ground to receive the massive turn out of donors recruited by Blood Drive Initiative members. No doubt BDI – a youth inspired group is contributing immensely to primary health care in Nigeria through active campaign and collaboration with NBTS for Safe Blood supply to meet the Nigerian teeming Blood need.
